Speechless

I actually have no idea for this post. Let me begin~

I was standing in restaurant..waiting for costumers to walk in and have their. It was about 11 am. A couple(about 50-60 years old) stopped by at the hostess stand. So i quickly went there and asked:

Me: Hi good morning.. Having here or take away?
Mdm: Having here. Table for two please.
Me: Yeah sure..

So both of them walked in and took their seat.

Me: Ma'am Want to order now or later?
Sir: I want to go to the washroom.. You order first..(said the husband to the wife)
Mdm: Okay..
So i took her order, prepared and sent over her meal and i said "Enjoy your meal ma'aam"..

After few minutes later her husband still not back yet. (I thought berak kot)..so i continued to serve other customers.. Suddenly i saw her get up and down several times from her seat. She looked very worried and uncomfortable.. So i went to her table

Me: Is everything alright ma'am?
Mdm: NO(sad voice)..You know what my husband don't want to eat here. He is seating over there. (she pointed at her husband who enjoying his coffee and meal at Old Town White Coffee)

Me:(speechless) *terbebek*
Kedak tok terbebek ba~~

Mdm: He's always like that..always leave me like this..kalau pegi makan pun susah..beli barang pun susah..selalu saja saya sorang kena tinggal (she starts to cry)

Again i'm speechless. What am i going to do? shebes abis bila org nangis.. The other customers were looking at me...worse the manager also doing the same...

So i quickly grabbed a tissue and gave it to her..and said:

It's ok ma'am...people changed..At least your meal is healthier than him.. hehe

(confident sik statement aku...statement berani mati)

She looked at me and smiled..without a word.. she's slowly grabbed her handbag and pay at the cashier counter.."Thank you come again" i said and she just smiled and walked away..

While i'm cleaning up her table and saw that her husband still eating at the opposite restaurant. (siap baca newspaper)...I didn't see the wife walk over there.. *aku rasa bini nya balit terus pakei taxi.*

Until today i wonder:

• Betol ka salah my respond/ statement aku?? Did i make it worse? Sarcasm smile ka? heemmm

P/S: Sometimes it is okay to just keep quiet~~
